A Wait List will operate for those teams who have missed out on getting in and wish to have the opportunity to replace any teams withdrawing at a later date.
Note: When a entry becomes available for the event length your team has indicated you would like to compete in, you will get a call up phone call.

Looking for a team-mate or team?
If you require another team-mate or are looking to join a team, or are keen to find a training buddy, we will shortly be creating a Facebook post (see here) where you can register your interest for others to see, simply by adding a comment. We recommend you let others know a little about yourself or your team (fitness/skills/experience etc) and the length event you or your team are keen to do (short/medium or long course), so you locate a well suited team or team-mate to your or your teams goals.
Then private message one another to communicate further.
Don’t forget to delete your post or simply re-comment below your comment the word ‘Found’, after you have found a team or team-mate.
Don’t be shy… there every possibility you could strike up a lifelong friendship(s) from the experience.
Changing Teammates, Adding New Teammates & Changing Age Division
Team captains can update their team entry (Teammate info and Team Age Division) up to midnight on Wednesday 28th February 2018 by signing into their EventPlus profile.

From Thursday 1st March 2018, teams will need to print out the ‘Late Team Member Change and Waiver Agreement’ form here, complete and bring it with them to the event registration.
Change Team Race Category
If you wish to change the Race Category (i.e., short/medium/long course) your team races, we can only effect this change for your team if there is available space. Category changes are subject to a $20 admin fee in addition to any difference in entry fee (be it an increase or decease). Please contact us by email to see if this can be done.

95% Refund – teams withdrawing before Tuesday 1st August 2017
90% Refund – teams withdrawing before Friday 1st December 2017
75% Refund – teams withdrawing before Thursday 1st February 2018
50% Refund – teams withdrawing before Thursday 1st March 2018

Fundraise for charity and win
The Whai Ora Spirited Women Adventure Race has formed a relationship with PINC & STEEL – Cancer Rehabilitation Trust.
The PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Programs provide individualized, prescribed rehabilitation to women and men diagnosed with cancer; helping them heal as well as possible, and function at optimal levels through every stage of their treatment and recovery. They are specifically designed to help maximize recovery, regain physical and emotional strength, improve body confidence and control.
We encourage teams to set-up a ‘Everyday Hero’ fundraising site here and raise money for the cause.
To motivate you to fund raise for the cause we have teamed with our event sponsors to offer an amazing prize for the team with the greatest number of donations and the team who raises the most money. Get into it!
