Entry

To enter, designated a team captain responsible for entering the team. The team captain must first create an EventPlus profile for themselves (or login if they have one already). This can be done ahead of entry release by clicking on the button below. When entries open (on Tuesday 4th June at 7:00am) the team captain again clicks on the button below, logs on to their EventPlus profile and registers for the team in the chosen event category & division. The team captain then enters in any known team member email addresses (if they have them). The team captain completes the remainder of personal questions and then must pay for the complete team entry fee by credit card to confirm their team registration. A team code will be sent to all listed teammates email addresses, so these teammates can each create profiles (or login if they have one already) and add themselves to the team before online entries close.

Entry Limit The event is now strictly limited to 408 teams (1632 women) on a first entered basis, per North Island and South Island. There are only;

  • 34 Long Course Team Spaces – NORTH ISLAND: SOLD OUT / SOUTH ISLAND: entries available
  • 204 Medium Course Spaces – NORTH ISLAND: SOLD OUT / SOUTH ISLAND: entries available

A wait list will operate for those teams who miss out on getting in and wish to have the opportunity to replace any teams withdrawing at a later date. Note: When an entry becomes available for the event category length your team has indicated you would like to compete in, you will get a call-up phone call. If you decide that your team would like to no longer take part, we would appreciate if you removed your team off the wait list.

Wave start times For the final team wave start times as of the close of the online entry system at midnight on Wednesday 5th February 2020 (South Island) / Wednesday 18th March 2020 (North Island), please refer to the event timetable here for NORTH and here for SOUTH.

Looking for a team-mate or team? If you require another team-mate or are looking to join a team, we regularly post on the event Facebook page leading up to the event, where you can register your interest for others to see, simply by adding a comment. We recommend you let others know a little about yourself or your team (fitness/skills/experience), North or South island event, and the length event you or your team are keen to do (short/medium or long course), so you locate a well-suited team or team-mate to your or your team’s goals. Then private message one another to communicate further. Don’t forget to delete your post or simply re-comment below your comment the word ‘Found’, after you have found a team or team-mate. Please don’t be shy… there every possibility you could strike up a lifelong friendship/s from the experience.

Team edits and deleting (non-Captain) team members

The person who registered the team (the ‘Team Captain’) will need to do this before the close of online entry at midnight on Wednesday 5th February 2020 (South Island) or Wednesday 18th March 2020 (North Island).

  • Login to your EventPlus profile using your email and password
  • Click on your ‘short/medium/long course’ entry
  • Make any changes as required to your team entry (i.e., changing the team name or age division)
  • Delete any old team members
  • Click ‘Update’

Adding New Team Members

Add a new team member by emailing them your team code (Example: SW123456789) so they can create (or login to) their EventPlus profile and enter the team code to add themselves to the team (if replacing another member, the old team member must be deleted first to free up this email field).

From Thursday 6th February 2020 (South Island) or  Thursday 19th March 2020 (North Island), teams will need to print out the ‘Late team member change and Waiver agreement’ form here, complete and bring it with them to the event registration.

Changing the team captain If you need to change the team captain or have made an error in your entry which you cannot correct, please contact us.

Change team race category If you wish to change the race category (short, medium, or long course) your team races, we can only effect this change for your team if there is available space. Category changes are subject to a $20 admin fee in addition to any difference in entry fee (be it an increase or decrease). Please contact us by email to see if this can be done.

Withdrawals & refund policy To withdraw, please contact us by email.

Spirited Women’s Performance T-shirt Sizing Chart

All the team members will receive a dry fit performance tee as part of their entry fee. The Captain is the only person who can select sizes for the whole team (not team members).

Finding your size from the “Half Chest” measurement

Take a favourite-fitting garment, lay it flat, and measure across the front as depicted below (~1cm below the armpit). Match this measurement to the “half-chest” measurement, and match this to the size chart below. Allow 0.5-1.5cm for possible garment shrinkage. T-shirt are made from stretch material and sized to be a close fit, so if you like loose fitting T-shirts, we recommend you choose a size up.

Note: Please carefully review the size chart before selecting sizes, and be aware that we won’t be able to offer any size exchanges at the event registration, as this is an event exclusive production run. Please use the measurements in the sizing chart to ensure that you get the perfect fit for you and your teammates. If you like a loose fit, we recommend ordering a size up from normal. Edits can be made up to midnight Monday 30th September 2019 when all sizes need be confirmed.
